Well Feb was shit. Thankfully I spiked the BBJ and managed to pay the bills. As long as I drink beer and play poker like a degenerate nothing will ever go my way. It is quite simple tbh.

March the plan is to one again turn my shit around and practice mindfulness. Fuck you alcohol! Since I suck at volume I will try to work 100 hours min this month. Managed 79 in Feb.

In life news I got 9 of 9 on my aptitude test for the Electricians union. Unfortunately because the economy is in the shitter they have frozen the last stage of the hiring process. I am thinking June or July things will bounce back. Looks like I am stuck grinding till then.

The honest truth is poker isnt much fun anymore. I constantly feel pressure to win which isnt good for my mental state. Luckily my bankroll nittiness has kept me safe thus far.

It would be real fucking nice to get to 200NL and make some real coin. Might take some shots mid March if I can get on a roll.

This was an old screen name of mine which is right up there with Fagbox23 for top notch handles imo. Anyways I just wanted to post another brag about how sweet my life is. Ironically I hated my life from about 15yrs old till I would say somewhere around 23 or 24. Many times I contemplated suicide and in fact failed at 3 or 4 pathetic attempts at the old hose in the tailpipe trick.

Here I sit today 28yrs of age with a gorgeous wife and amazing son playing poker for a living. What more can a man ask for really? There is plenty I know but things could be much much worse. The fact is I have been fortunate enough in my life journey to make some good door A door B choices which have lead to where I am today.

From here on I must continue to stay positive and focus my thoughts in the right direction and allow more run good to take place.

I am out yo. tahoe bound in the AM and without the web. TBh I am so fucking stoked on life right now. I get to not think about poker for 3 days and enjoy my son's 1st snow adventure. I was never exposed to snow as a youngster so I am going to try and recapture my youth through him.

I seriously wanted to write out a long as thank you blog. It is amazing how for granted I take the fact that I have been able to support my family for multiple years from clicking my fucking mouse. Hippy shit

Put together 10 straight winning sessions since starting my meditation. Coincidence? I would like to think not. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. The strange thing is before playing my last session I had this bad feeling. Something said not to play though I wanted to and had meditated and was ready to go. The fact is I must get in hands but I guess sometimes it is better to listen to that little voice.

I will save you the boring HH but yeah I ran kinda meh. To end my session I clicked the dreaded bottom choice on the wait list window which I personally have had no problems with except this time it decided to freeze the client.

Time to take a break and get going on another run of winning sessions.

I have made it through 3 of the 8 TA videos and am meditating multiple times a day. I feel fresh and calm while playing though I still have brief relapses at times. The main thing is maintaining focus as well as being mindful of my thoughts while playing.

Volume is lacking a bit. I have always felt like the reason I chose poker as a profession wasnt to be a leatherass but because of the freedom which it allowed me in my daily life. The fact remains I must work harder than the next guy if I want to reach my targets in 2010. As in poker balance is improtant in life and I will continue to seek the perfect balance.

I have been playing with my thoughts heavily weighted in wrong view. Emotional attachment is present in my thinking. Attaching emotions to a hand doesnt allow me to think clearly about my opponents ranges which in turn cost me EV. I tend to make the majority of my mistakes when I am "waiting" for cards and become attached to my hand. A fine example would be the KK hand I posted earlier today.

I am losing it

Poker is driving me fucking insane. I think it is time to revist The eightfold path to poker enlightenment. Seriously I am yelling and looking for shit to break. It feels like nothing good can happen anymore. I wait wait and wait for cards and then the flops are shit. I make a move and it blows up. Cbets fail. Double barrels get called by 8th pair. Can I please get something to value bet?
