I feel weird

Well June will end with me in the red after my failed shot at 200NL where I basically exploded and tilted off a good chunk of BI's. The honest to god truth is I spew way too much vs regs in 3bet pots. The plan from here on is to play super super solid poker and have bluffs make of like 20% of my 3bet range.

For July I will be ignoring results and the cashier until the 15th when it will be time to withdraw some monies. I also have begin watching a HU series on DC and will be trying to play 10K hands at 50NL and see where that goes. I honestly feel like HU might be my perfect game.

One other random thing is I recently looked at old blogs and it was quite interesting. Crazy I have been writing to the world for over 2 years now.

Or not

Just played a 2nd session of 6 tables.

Pros-I get dealt alot of hands.

Cons-I miss a ton of info. I play less hands and miss good spots alot. It strains my eyes. I dont table select well. on and on.

I truly believe I could train myself to play 6 tables profitably but the truth is I enjoy playing 4 really juicy tables and just owning souls. I wont ever nail some insano 100K hand month but I definitely can log 40K+ if i dedicate enough hours to it.

Obv I lost 6 BI during the experiement though I ran real gross.

Lets give iot a shot

This week I am going to play exclusively 6 tables and see how it goes. I already played one session and got crushed. The games are wack today though and I scooped no big pots and lost a few coolers as well as every 3bet pot. Feel like I should be able to 6 table and play real solid with similar results to 6 tabling. Just need to stay focused and maintain the same focus I do when 4 tabling.

The reson I am doing this is I suck at volume and if I can become comfortable 6 tabling that will greatly increase my monthly volume. I will keep you posted.

I found a JOB!

Its called NLHE and it my boss is insane in the fucking membrane but I love. Obviously I was struggling like a motherfucker last week and needed to take a break. I actually did play yesterday and booked a small win which was nice. I have a renewed enthusiasm for the game after watching some AEjones vids and I also decided to watch a DC vid for noobs to get a renewed sense of preflop strat. Basically if I can stay away from spewtastic 3bet wars with regs light and not let my EGO get in the way of thinking through ranges I can crush. I feel like my vpip should be between 19-22 on average and PFR 17-19. 3betting light isnt always going to be the best option and honestly I think that the weight of bluffs vs value should be between 70/30 and 80/20 in todays 100 and 200 games given the amount that people call or 4bet.

Anyways life is good and poker will remain my source of income until i go busto or find something which i want to do instead. I plan on looking into finishing college given that I am half way there already.

I am out!

Help me find a job please!!!!

Well basically I am in another one of those sweet down swongs which I never thought were real. Obviously there is a ton of spew and poor timing but along with that is some sick coolers and just all around BS. The roll is at an all time low and I think i need a break from the game. Not going to play any poker for the rest of the week. I am seriously depressed due to the fact that I have to start searching for a real job. My red line has taken a shit on me which means a few things. I am playing like a bitch. I am sticking a ton of money in bad. And your moms a whore.

yes Btimm I am writing this directly after another losing session where I bluffed off my stack with equity in a spot where I obviously should have been value shoving not semi-bluffing. Then I 3bet AK and get a flop of AK9 and run into 99.

Anyways I am taking suggestions on real life jobs which could become careers. I will begin the application process tomorrow. The resume is going to be fun explaining.

"So what have you done the last 2 years?" Well I was a self employed degenerate gambler who ran decently well.

Run good where are you?

It is absolutely amazing how when things get tough at poker it seems like you continually find yourself in bad spots. Combine that with utter gayness like this...

On the move

Well 200NL is not for me. I cant get anything to work. I play bad and lose. I play great and lose. Moral of the story. I LOSE. Seriously I cant take it. Poker is the cruelest game ever. I admit I have done some retarded spewtastic shit this month. Truth is though it mainly stems from the fact that I cant catch a break. Nothing like moving up and running 10BI below EV to boost your confidence.

Here is a sweet 3 barrel 200BB bluff that I should have never made. Some day I will learn to not play unless I have the proper preparation.

Spewtastic

I have been trying to do wayyyyyyy too much these days. The best thing to come from it is that I have converted to essentially no HUD. I still have the pop up and note taking ability as well as last hands but no numbers on my screen. I think this will help me focus more on hand ranges and game flow and get away from making conclusions based on stats. Still checking stats whihc bothers me but I am hopefully done doing that till the 15th after this post.

Also I am in love with Ante tables. They earn me sick reload bonus and rakeback and are +EV as hell because people dont adjust all that much and the fish are in love with them.

Here is a prime example of me being a tard. This is VS Bazclef and I had flatted in this same spot last orbit and c/f. I didnt want to 3bet because I felt like I just get way too many folds and the BB is a weirdo ante table SS who can be sqz happy at times. The flop is pretty terrible for my hand yet at the same time decent. I guess I could c/r and look to get it in given that Baz probably never gives me credit for a J and may rebluff/VB worse. I decide to c/c instead which leads to the turn where I feel like his bet sizing indicates he is setting up a river jam yet he may well be DB looking to push me off anything less then Jx. River is just level city and the truth is we dont have enough history for me to call here.

Energy

I swear to God energy is so strong. In poker it really does make a difference. Today was a decent day I believe until the end when I got pwned due to bad play and bad energy.

I overplayed the fuck out of this hand. At 1st I was just like this guy is a clown and I has best 2p lets go. If you consider his line it is like insanely strong and calling the turn and possibly c/f the river is by far the best play. He almost never has a worse 2p except for T7 and playing for this much money in this spot was a huge huge huge mistake.
