Bittersweet

So I had to check my results after I played a super short -5BI session where I basically spewed money left and right. I was busy running around in the AM and came home and tbh wasn't feeling all that eager to play. Made the mistake of having one beer with lunch and then hitting the tables. That one beer caused me to lose my fold button and believe that others where bluffing when they werent. Anyways my month has been going quite well running at 6.5 PTBB over 15k sample. I know I am a winner at 100NL. Now I must grind some more hands before taking on the next challenge, 200NL.

Here is the spew of the day. Villain had actually been c/f to me as the pfr and I knew he had to be on a made hand when he fired a 3rd barrel. I double floated with equity knowing he could be fed up and DB in which case I can take it away when I miss on the river or obv extract when I get there if he is made. River was lame because I knew in my heart he was made and wouldnt fold but I pulled the triiger anyways under the assumption that my line is never a bluff thus he cant call. He did think a bit before calling. The truth is everything is alright imo up until my jambo. Curious to know if he calls a jam on a K or 8 river.

AMAZING

The weather here is fucking epic. My biggest dilema in regards to grinding out hands is looking outside. When the weather is as awesome as it is today there is only one place to be, outside. Obviously with beer in hand and a grill close by. Today I will be going to the beach and just relaxing and chilling. Tomorrow I plan on cleaning up my crib in preparation for my visitors. In case you didnt know I am pretty pumped that Martin and Andrew are coming to hang for a week.

I managed to get a session in today and though I won less then 40% when I saw flop and about 33% at SD I booked a nice win thanks to weekend donks who have no clue how to fold. Nut peddaling is the way to go though when the games are this juicy. Its so hard to get these guys to fold. I DB this clown on K736 when the flush comes in and he snaps with AQ high with the Q high FD river peels a K and I had to give up and he scooped I was sick. It is insane when you see what these guys peel with. I feel obligated to triple barrel them and its funny how often it works too. I got a hand for yall speaking of poker.

I think everything is standard up to the river. Villain is playing 25/13/2 hadnt develop too many reads besides seeing him check min raise a flopped set. Giving the odds here is this a call? I would say he can have 2p, a straight, sometimes a flush, and then Jx. Super easy call given that range?

Fridays

Gotta love them. I mean in life and poker they hold so much promise. Except when you cant get anything going poker wise, they can be hell. Played the most annoying session of my life today. It was like every flop sucked for me. I felt like a huge vagina because I was just checking back all day with air. It was wack. I mean I have been playing so great postflop vs donks but today was another story. Anyways I didnt blow up and steam off a bunch of chips which is nice. Also I am done for the night and have cold beer in the fridge which fucking rules. I am out.

Its been a minute.

Haven't been grinding nearly as much as I would like but when I have I feel great. I am truly enjoying poker again. I know that sounds stupid but its true. During my filthy break even stretch I went into this state of depression where I truly disliked poker and was just grinding. I contribute a good amount of my success to my coach for simply opening my eyes up to some spots where I was bleeding money as well as a nice slice of run good.

In other news I am down to like 215 and been kicking ass on my new eating style excpet for Easter obv. And now Dodgy and Drew are coming so I will be slobbing it up for a week. Hopefully I can some kick ass pics for the blog. later yall.

WOOOOOOT!

Ship the BBJ share again! I run goot at table shares. Third share in like 5 months or so. Played decent today besides a few spots. The truth is my biggest leak is just being to eager. Playing solid in line ABC poker will crush from now until I die. Its so true it is unreal. One thing I realized is note taking is so key. If you have over 100 hands on a guy and no notes you arent focused enough.

Anyways I kinda caught my monthly results yesterday but I am back on the no peeky. It was nice to ship the 1k share after I withdrew a chunk of my roll yesterday. Again my roll is sufficient for 100NL. My plan is 100NL till May 13th which is mine and Dodgys bday. Then I will check the roll and hopefully be ready to own some 200NL donks.

One bit of advice I got for all is this, play solid and aggressive. Also they dont play back as much as you think.

BOoOOOOOOOOOO!

So things have been going well and I have been avoiding my results. The cards have been kind and the donkeys have been kind too. The luck of this game is being fortunate enough to have a fish make a 2nd best hand vs you or just flat out do some dumb shit. Of course this can go the opposite way and be brutal too. Anyways I was sailing high until today. Today I played one of those sessions where I played not so well. Basically I got QQ in preflop for a 400BB pot vs AK and JJ and lost and then from there proceeded to basically just stop thinking. My brain was in shut off mode just stewing over the previous pot which i could have scooped. At that point I need to shut down and clear my mind. Instead I continued my grind and made a high variance stack off with TT which I dont like. I have to realize that in todays game my edge is going to be postflop much more then pre. From there I made some more bad calls and came unglued. Only thing to salvage is I am aware of what the cause was and now i simply need to devise a plan of action for next time.

Anyways life is good and I am enjoying the piss out of it at the moment. Now on the Paleo Diet and am down to 215lbs. Super stoked on Dodgy and Andrew coming into my town in 2 weeks. Also stoked on Easter as it will be a ton of fun watching my little man track down his goodies. later yall.
