This is kind of inside joke. My mom always has crazy ending to her voice mail like, "Walk in peace." Just bizarre yet powerful messages and I called my brothers house the other day and his wife concluded the answering message by saying, "Make it a great day." I was like WTF? She is becoming my mom. Sorry Kamahl, LOL. Anywas I said you know what you should change it to, " It is a great day." Much more powerful, right? So hence the heading for my blog today, except I took it one step further.
As far as poker goes I have flirted with the idea of moving up to the next limit which is a 200 max buy in instead of the 100 max I have been playing. Actually I have played like 2000 hands at that limit this month with a very small rofit to show for it. After speaking with a poker friend of mine last night though I think I am going to make the transition a little slower then I planned and just play 2 tables max of the $200 buy in and play 3 of the smaller $100 buy in. I know I am capable of beating either yet no poker player is immune to a bad run of cards. One of the keys to fighting off bad runs of cards though is maintaining a soid BR and not jumping up to quick. If you risk large chunks of your BR with bad results you can go busto quick. Plus when I wrote my goals for this month I clearly stated I would wait to bump. Actually I am going to go read my goals again and I stick to what I wrote. Looks like I will be 5 tabling the 100 game which is called 50NL. The 50 is 100 times what the big blind is.
Anyways I have so much to do today and this weekend so I better go. Hope you all are well and for all you Giants fans, look out the Bronx Bombers are in town.

good luck.
Pete,
What about setting yourself a goal where if you get your bankroll to $5k you get rewarded with 2 or 3 buyins at $200nl. That way it wont be as mentally hard to take in if you lose a little at first for whatever reason.
