My blog is going to be a little more poker oriented in July. You may have noticed the new list. This is a month long experiment a group of poker players from a training site I subscribe to are undertaking. It consists of playing poker and then posting the hands that challenged you each day and discussing them with one another in an attempt to think more in depth about how we play the game and why we make certain decisions. All the greats in poker have had a core group that they have developed their skills with and hopefully this will become my core unit and together we will become the next poker greats. In no way do I personally want publicity or fame but to be noticed by the poker community as someone who has established himself as a force would be nice. Therefore my blog will contain 2 if not 3 hand histories for my crew to read and comment on as well as any of my faithful readers to observe too.
On another note I will be changing my hair. Tomorrow at 10am I will be getting my first haircut of 07. Its insane how long I have gone without one. Ah, the luxuries of being your own boss.
Now one of my many abstract thoughts. I have not done nor do I plan on doing any research on this topic but I was wondering why clocks and a way of keeping track of time was created? I know it goes way way back but in this day and age I am doubtful time is seen in the same light as when it was being developed. Why 60 minutes in an hour? Why not 300? In reality I started thinking that time has become a way to control us. Dwell on that!
I almost forgot, yesterday I made my 1st cash withdrawal using my epassporte card. $600 cash from my poker BR is now in my bank account. After this withdrawal and my play yesterday my BR rests at $3220 with 75 pending bonus dollars. Also on my path towards my goal I have slowed way down and currently have played a total of 24655 hands. It looks like I will fall short but it ain't over yet.
I am not rude, I am real.

Hi Noel,
I hope we can all be of help to eachother in the newly set up CR Low Limit Grinders Community. I'd appreciate it if you could add a link to my blog on yours, I will do the same on mine.
Good luck at the tables, sir!
I like the abstract thoughts - keep them coming! I think that when we converted to the decimal number system we should have changed time so it weas easier too! Like 100 seconds in a minute, 100 minutes in an hour, 10 hours a day, 10 days a week, 100 weeks a year! Something crazy like that - everything would be so much easier to deal with after a few years of madness!
I might try to implement it in my own life and see if it works!
As if your life wasn't poker oriented enough.
DODGYKEN - if telling time is too dificult for you perhaps you should give up on poker now
But if they were to change time to a decimal system, everyone would have to buy new clocks. Imagine buying a Rolex and then having to throw it away because it's obsolete.
Aha - that's why my ways of non-expensive clocks and watch-free wrists would be of benefit to me! If you kept them for 50 years or so you could probably sell them to a Museum Of Time and people would come to look at "The Crazy 60 Second Watch".
Where's the poker gone?!
