BBJ!

WOOOOOOOOOT!!!! Could not have came at a better time. I thought I was 5 tabling but then realized I was actually at a sixth table which I was quitting. It appears AP payed me for 5 so I am checking on # 6 as I type. Anyways been playing solid and working on some trouble spots. Also been doing alot of mental work away from the tables which I believe to be a major help. The guy who hit the BBJ made 96k and is a reg whom I believe to be breakeven at best. Congrats to him!!!!

This hand made me proud today.

  • cA dA
2 folds, CO raises to $3.50, 1 fold, SB raises to $11.50, Hero calls $10.50, CO calls $8

I decide to lay in the weeds because I just think my cold 4bet gets a ton of credit.
  • Flop ($34.50, 3 players)

Standard flat to continue to under rep my hand.

SB bets $108, Hero folds, CO calls $72.30

This is a spot where I would cry and click call knowing I was beat. Instead I took my time thought the hand through and made the correct fold. Seems standard I know but something I was quite pleased with.

Noel how much did you get for the bbj if I may ask? As far asI know i've never received a dime. it pains me.

As for the hand, I like the thinking pre, but you must raise the flop. If it was rainbow then ok slowplay, but there are just too many draws out there to flat the flop. The flush draws, the oesd and then all the gut shots. So many turns you are going to make a mistake on, whereas you can get it in so good on the flop.

As for the turn, it's a super duper easy muck. I am glad you seen that! You ended up getting lucky by not raising the flop, but seriously it is wrong not to.
