For the hand, first off: nice to win with quads!! Second off, if he had checked to you, I would have liked a slight overbet. I tend to do that often when the board looks as such, as zeebo's theorem is beyond true - people almost never fold boats.
Also, just think about Jason as inspiration. Not for hand volume, but rather for dedication. He set a goal sometime last year to become a Supernova Elite. He found out what it takes, worked on it at the end of last year, and there is no doubt in my mind he will reach his goal. His dedication to his goal is very impressive and should serve as a model not just to you, but to all people with goals.
So get on it mofo!
Just put in the hours, a hand total goal is just quantity over quality. Aim for a set number of hours per week to keep you motivated, & let the hands total be what it is.
