Dodgy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Martin "Dodgyken" Coleman was at my house for the last week and it was a good time. I was fortunate enough to be able to take him to Monday night football as well as a Warriors game and lock him in as a life long fan of two of my local sports teams. Besides that we ate a ton of good food and drank an abundance of great beer. We managed 8 sessions as well where Martin sweated me at 200NL. I was hoping to just run like God and stay put at 200NL after he departed but unfortunately we ran normal and booked 5BI's which means I will continue my grind at 100NL. 200NL is no different really except a bit more aggro but nothing insane. As long as I stay sound in my thinking and play well I know I will be beating it consistently. All and all it was a great week and I was sad to see him go. Though I have decided that my goal for 2010 is to become a solid winner at 200NL and be in England visiting Martin in August.

I am working on a few other decisions which I must make that will lead me towards the life I want to live. My battle with alcohol and using it as an excuse to be a slacker is over. Will I never drink again? No way! Though I am going to cut it out Sun-Fri excluding special occasions. Playing a high volume of hands is more important than catching a buzz. Exercise is another important element to my success therefore I plan to create a sweet gym routine which I can fit in during my work day.

Anyhow hope everyone is enjoying their December. I will update again soon.

Quit saying you are going to do something and just do it. All the time you say you are going to stop drinking so much and yet you never do it. The power is all in your control, if you don't want to drink all the time and you feel it is best to not do it so much, then just don't do it. It really is that simple. Now go out and do it and be successful. Don't start in 2010 either, that is a bullshit excuse. If you really think it is important, then why are you waiting two weeks to start?!?!

Thanks again for having me! It was a great trip and I'll write it up with some pictures on my blog once I'm home.

When I started playing high volume I just quit drinking without even thinking about it.

Or "quit" as in like what you're saying anyway. From drinks daily to few per month.
