Setting a goal.

So the month of May has been a rocky oe at the tables and I havent always performed my best and actually was dumb enough to play Friday night after having a few beers which resulted in a negative $200 session. I wont be making that mistake again. Fortunately I slept it off and made a solid recovery the following morning. I ended this week +127 which should have been +317. Anyways you live and you learn. At the beginning I believed I stated I wanted to make 5000 this month which is looking to be more like 1000 give or take with winnings and rakeback/bonuses. I also was going to try for 1000 hands a day and failed there too. I am currently sitting at 18876 hands for the month. I decided to take Sunday off and will look to end the month with a strong closing week.

Now I want to set some goals for the near future. In June I will play no less then 40000 hands of poker. I am currently playing 25/50cent No-limit and look to move up to .50/1 by monthds end. In order to achieve this I must play my desired hand number get my bankroll to $4000. Also I would like to withdraw $1000 to stick in my bank account for some bills and what not. Basicallky I am looking to have a +$3000 month in June and keep getting better. I will not play after drinking anymore unless it is super micro stakes and I am just looking to have fun. I must also only play when well rested and feel I have an edge. Another problem that has been plaguing me is the tricky play syndrome where I attempt to bluff steal and end up losing a load of chips in the process. This doesnt mean I am done bluffing it just means that they will be better thought out and less frequent.

Do you know what oppurtunity cost is? It's sure adding up for you.

Also don't forget to take the operating costs out of your winnings.

$500 for a new monitor?
