Well that was fun

Took a shot at 200NL today as I woke up feeling sharp and inspired. I am tired of being a fucking pussy and missing out on the EV of playing higher. Yes my BR is very important as I make a living off of this game and need to withdraw a decent chunk every month but fuck me I think 100BI is enough of a cushion to move up and take a shot. I failed obviously dropping 3.5BI in a strong showing. I feel liek 200NL is no different than 100NL besides a slight bit of amped up aggression which I should have no trouble adjusting to. My biggest fault was somehow playing 26/21 over 643 hands. I think I could have played tighter though I dont feel like I spewed because of the stats. I managed to make one river call I regret when I slow played AA preflop in a spot where I had to. My biggest leak is attachment to a hand/outcome. It is essential to view our hand in relation to the action and board texture and play accordingly. How I fuck this up time and again is beyond me. I am basically a fish who falls in live with a starting hand when all signs tell me I am owned. So anyways besides that I think I played solid. JJ AI pre lost to two AK on KKx LOL. Than I sqz AJ cbet Q33fd vs the back caller who I assume to have 55-99 a ton of the time and rarely a Q or a FD. Turn brings three to the flush giving me the NFD and I ship for just over pot only to see T9s. Last but not least was this seet value cut on the river.

48/12/2af I maybe could raise get this in on the flop though I dont mind peeling given his bet and the fact that I know I play better than this donk. Turn is an easy check given he is trapping with a Kx hand a ton or XC AA/TT+. River he pots which is scary. I think there are a ton of worse FD's or slowplayed K's that a jam is the correct play. Thoughts?

but rather doing it. Again I make dip shit calls along side dip shit bluffs and lose dinero. Goods news nearing 10k hands on the month. Bad news break even. I have managed to lose a good % of my AI preflop coolers but that doesnt mean shit really. I am playing too loose and aggro preflop all the sudden and need to get back to focusing on where my edge is coming from and pounding on that spot/s.

It is always discouraging when you are busting your ass and have nothing to show for it. But the only thing to do is to keep busting your ass harder.

Grinding

Have a major week of grind ahead. Have to bust my ass this week as Martin arrives next Sunday and I dont imagine I will get as many hands in while he is here. I am super stoked for his visit as I get to be the 1st to take him to an American Football game and it is going to be a Monday night game of all things. Also planning on taking some 200nl shots while he is here to look over my shoulder.

I play bad? Villain was a super Lag tard who had been playing semi fit or fold post as the caller. His stats were 59/38 or some shite. When he donks the turn I think I should be raising given he almost always XR with 54 and basically is leading some sort of BFDF which he either does or doesnt have a P or SD with. Instead I opted to flat and when he pots the flush river I think its a pretty easy fold. If I could go back and raise his turn lead how big and how do we play the river if the flush/T/5 hits and he jams? Also I assume would be a raise/call?

Weekend warriors

Going to get some hands in today to make up for my lack of weekday volume. Plan on playing during the day so I can hang with the fam tonight. Definitely not playing my A-game 100% or following as closely to my plan as I would like. I managed to 6 table last night because there were just so many fish but the fact remains 4 is best.
